New Feature: Billing Alarms for Your GPU Usage and Costs

Be on top of your GPU usage and costs with our new billing alarm feature! Easily define a threshold value (in USD) and receive email notifications once you’ve reached the set amount. This helps you to keep track of your costs to train or accelerate your workload. And the best thing is: setting the billing alarm is free!

How to set up a billing alarm?

Accessibility is one of our key values and was the main requirement for this feature. All you have to do is:

 
•    navigate to your Account on the GC console and select Billing  
 
•    at the top you will find a box called “Billing Alarm”  
 
•    click on “Add alarm” and set the Billing threshold slider to active  
 
•    define the threshold value (in USD) in the set box  
 
•    click on “Save”  
 
•    to edit or view the set amount, click on “Edit alarm”  

Please note that the billing alarm is only an informational tool and will not automatically stop your instance once you’ve reached a certain threshold value.
